I honestly think that Stefano should've been the main antagonist throughout the entire game. Out of all the main villains in the game, he is the one I consider as the best succesor to Ruvik. Stefano is a psychopath, every encounter with him is unnerving, and his "artistic" work adds a new disturbing feature to the game, and makes it more suspensful. In comparison to him, Theodore feels like he barely has an impact on the plot, and is just some another villain that the creators shoved in. Seriously, why couldn't they kept Stefano a little more?

Stefano's knife is much more brutal. It's curved and has several other large sharp pieces sticking out of the sides of the blade. Sebastian's is just a regular knife. I'd much rather get stabbed by Sebastian's knife.

I would have preferred it had they let Stefano die with him saying, "If only I had my camera. Where did it go?" It seems more...poetic somehow than having Stefano try to take a picture of Sebastian. It kind of broke the moment for me. Or have Stefano take a picture of himself.

Originally I agreed completely, but going through the scene again, how it is seems appropriate. Stefano pleaing for his camera is a bit too sympathetic, even Sebastian (when seeing his face) seems to resign to the fact that Stefano might just be a regular guy who really did think he was making art. While having him make one last attempt isn't nearly as poetic, it does cement that this guy is a serial killer and knows what he's doing; he doesnt deserve sympathy or a tragic end.

@@johningram9195 You have a good point. But, in Stefano's perspective, nothing was more important than his art. His main goal wasn't killing Sebastian, he was in STEM to make "art". So I think it would have made more sense for him to look for his camera and die, or to take a picture of himself and become his last work.

Stefano was easily the best villain in the Evil Within 2 with some great unique monsters such as Obscura and The Guardian under his control. Theodore was okay but bland at times because he was the cliche religious cult leader. Although the monsters unique to him such as the harbingers and fat exploding haunted were pretty cool and because of his boss fight we got to see the sadist, the keeper and Laura again.

This is a totally different fight on night mare, this boss drove nuts, so many almost 1 kit kills he does and don't let him say philistine and do that shoulder stab, no matter how much health I had it almost killed me.You pretty much have to play perfect.

I tried to find advice on beating this stage and it was hard to find but I found that after you weaken him with a couple of shots and the tentacles break down the back wall on the left side, you can corner yourself in the wall that was in front on it and use your harpoon explosives to set up around you. Stefano might still try to do some sneaky fast attacks but he hits the explosives and you only have to shoot him a few times. A lot less times then just shooting him alone

Yea it is, cause he's taking very little damage. I just beat him today on survival and I didn't think he was that hard. I beat him my first try, he never got me with that "picture this" attack of his. Pretty much all you have to do is keep moving around the area and look for openings to get some shots off. Explosive bolts are also useful, shoot one on the ground and have him walk into it. Shock and smoke bolts also work wonders as well. They will stun him for a few seconds giving you a chance to get off 3 or 4 handgun rounds or 1 or 2 shotgun blasts. Second form is a little more difficult with the eye monster attacking at times plus he's a little more aggressive, but just keep using the same strategy and he will eventually go down. At least that's what I did
