Neither is Ruvik remember the ending of the first game Leslie's possessed body walks away from stem after Ruvik transfers his mind turning him to goo. I expect we will find out what happened to. Both Joseph and Ruvik in the 3rd game seeing as EW2 has no DLC! XD

I think that Joseph is in hiding like I think Kidman took him somewhere safe so no one know where to find him. That's my thoughts. In my predictions, I think in The Evil Within 3, we may play as Joseph as the main character. Kidman and Sebastian will be subsided character.

If you played the First Game you will notice at the End the People who are in the Bathtubes are dead. The Doctor of Leslie or the Ambulance Guy. However of all the Bathtubes with People who are alive or dead only about two are empty. We know that Sebastian and Kidman are alive. One is Ruvik in Leslies Body. So the only other Character who it could be is Joseph.

I don’t like how they treats Joseph after TEW1, at all. ①In TEW2, he gets mentioned only in a missable scene and Seb seemed to be completely okay with having a happy ending without Joseph. ②In Ghostwire: Tokyo, there are some missable Joseph Easter Eggs; we can find his glasses at a building and see “オダ生きてるBANK”(＝Oda-is-alive BANK in JP) being written at an ATM. ③In Hi-Fi RUSH, we can meet Seb and Joseph as cute robots in some chapters. That is good I think. But after finding all of them, we can get an achievement that says like “I don’t really know but I think Oda is alive lol” in JP. I don’t know how other Joseph fans feel about it, but I personally find these treatments very offensive. TEW2 kind of dropped Joseph’s character completely out of the storyline. And now they’re making his whereabouts into some missable Easter Eggs. I think they doesn’t really respect Joseph’s character and maybe they just used him as an unimportant comic relief from the start. I’m sad.

Even if the first game didnt have the grainy graphics the enviroments were scarier in the first, the bosses were better in the first game, laura ruvik, safe head, chainsaw murderer. The enemys like the two headded ones were based off split personalities. Also the bow was much more useful in the first game.

I really, really really really hate how they concluded TEW2 without any explanations about Joseph and I still think TEW2 is the WORST sequel in gaming history. Joseph was Seb’s fckin partner. He was the one who kept supporting Seb after the fire, he was def a important person to Seb. Why TEW2 Seb doesn’t care about him it’s like an insult to TEW1 Seb’s character. Honestly in TEW2 I wanted Seb to go rescue Joseph instead of the mcguffin named Lily. SEBASTIAN’S STORY CAN’T BE CONCLUDED WITHOUT JOSEPH. I still really hate Seb’s characterization in TEW2 and kinda have a grudge against the writers. And now it’s 2021 there’s no hope for Evil Within 3 because they fckin abandoned the first game’s storyline and TEW2 bombed so hard. Rest In Peace The first Evil Within, my beloved game. You deserved so much better. Seb and Joseph’s relationship deserved so much better. Not exactly sure as of yet but the scar is Mobius' logo/symbol. Maybe something to do with her continuing to work for Mobius despite trying to go against them in the DLC? :,)) /sorry if this was already obvious to you/
