Is it true that a prevs fully vaccinated person dont need a booster if re-expose and got bitten within 3month of full vaccination but if more than 3months has pass booster is needed cause some doctor that WHO made that statement is it true?

A puppy bite happend on 07/02/2022.I have taken erig & 1st dose of ARV with 6 hrs of PEP, & I am follwing the dosage schedule. Unfortunately the puppy has died after 2 days of bite, the puppy was ill too previously. If there any chances of rabies in this case, Am I safe if take all the vaccinations on time!!!

Yes but have received Full schedule vaccine with immunoglobulin ....if you are suffering from category 3

out of 5 ,one dose of vaccine was given in my gluteal area sir because of that would it cause vaccine to not to work Ah doctor? (Doctor saying what we gave is IM of 5 doses and their hospital regimen is different ) planning to switch the remaining doses to govt hospital

It’s always better to take PEP whatsoever the duration might have passed. It will not be harmful if not beneficial at least..

I was by the lake in the middle of forest when a cat kept meowing, I meowed back and it came close to me. I gave the cat some meat snack, it started to rub against my legs. I was kind of scared, and the cat leaned on me with its fore legs when one of its nail got hooked in my thighs. It kept following me. My doctor has prescribed antibiotics.
