I super LOVE videos like this! It's as if the song is supporting the story unfolded by the video, not the other way around. Also, I was not expecting the plot twist at the end, but I'm guessing that's why I love it so much. Great job, RAC! Along with Let Go ft. Kele, MNDR, this video is definitely in my top favorites! Ok. I bought this RAC album on iTunes. This is one of the better songs and I've listened to it 50 times or more. I just watched the video and it is confusing AF. But it does seem to contain a lot of consistent symbolism, so it's probably worth watching over and over. I love art that is enjoyable while also being challenging. "Let our love tear you down"

It's about an undercover police officer (RAC) who is spying on a cult-ish group. While spying on them, he falls in love with a girl in the cult, but gets them arrested anyway. At the end, he wants to go back to the cult and the girl.

Wyntrr_End Literally, the video portrays an undercover cop ratting out a cult style group of people. However, in my opinion the video is a symbol for the split nature of humanity - one that leans towards order and control, the other towards chaos and freedom in such a sense. The flashback at the end and the appearance of RAC still having the tattoo on his wrist is a symbol for a bias towards the side of humanity that favors chaos and freedom. It's a nice video, and a nice song. I like it. Very thought provoking.

I wrote the storyline, so I'll give you the full run down. Katherine is right, he went undercover as a cop, but when he was undercover, the cult (RAC) turned him to their ideals. In this case the cult's ideals were to rise into the next life with your loved ones. The only thing was, the cult members weren't his loved ones. In the end of the video he gives a toast, and all of his cops friends drink to his success. WHAT YOU DON'T SEE is that he actually poisoned the keg that everyone is drinking from. As he walks away with the tattoo on his wrist, he's stepping over people who have been poisoned, unfortunately, due to all of the anti-cop drama that was going on at the time, we couldn't show the shot of the cops dropping, so the viewer is missing a crucial point in the story.
