Race 1, 1st in the club and 4th in the combine, 2022 first young bird pigeon race, 100% returns!

The first race of the 2022 young bird race series is in the books. We did have some bugs with the computer at the club and issues with the truck that was to drive the birds up, but overall I am happy with our results. We had pigeons score points in both the club and the combine. The race was from Sparks NV. We had 100% returns. Watch this space for future races. Hopefully, we can keep up the results with our tiny little loft and team.

R u in sparks Nevada ? We have a ton of bird seed in our yard and a bird w one green band on one leg and one blue band on other the green has CYS ( we thing ) written on the green one . The other leg has a blue band

Hi Stefanie, No I am outside of Sacramento. The bird is most likely a race bird from one of the clubs that races from Nevada into California. If you were able to catch the bird we could track down the owner. Here is the band listing: www.pigeon.org/pages/bandlistings.php I could not find a club code CYS, The closest is CBS. They are a large breeding operation that sells pigeons, it could be a bird they sold to someone else. There is a club in Reno, there is also a one loft race that has CBS birds in it.
