I got a sudden interest in racing and f1 at the start of this year and I always do a lot of sim racing in my bedroom. I wanted to start karting so I went to this place called "Capital Karts" to do karting for my first time and I loved it however, the track was very slippery. I just joined race academy 2 weeks ago at Teamsport Docklands and had my first session. It was really good because the coaches tell you exactly what to do, teach you in ways such as take you around the track to teach you the racing line, and are really kind. I have to say it was extremely cold out there. I have really enjoyed it but I don't understand how people go every week when one session costs £22, I can only go once or twice a month. Can't recommend it enough though and can't wait for my next session!

My lad has been involved in the Race Academy since November last year. It was a rocky start for him ending up in a few barriers on his first outing but with the help of the amazing coaches at Teamsport Nottingham he has progressed so far and gained so much confidence in himself. I recommend everyone to go down and take your kid to the Race Academy. It gives them valuable skills, confidence and something to focus on. Good luck out there!

How long are each of the sessions on a Sunday

@@lavenderbeet4693 they get 2 15min sessions. Sometimes they have a deal going for newcomers where you pay £10 for their first 2 sessions and the membership reduced to £10 aswell. With membership the price is £25.50 for the 2 sessions with the 25% discount. Its a pretty good deal, and the trainers spend alot of time helping the kids get race ready, using cones to help race lines grid starts/rolling starts and general rules of racing. I can't recommend it enough, its worth atleast a visit to see.
