The only competitor I see who is always cool about his competition, win or lose. In all sports. There's no Drag race of this kind in our country, but I love watching it.

Tried to catch you after your last pass yesterday afternoon to say thank you for taking the time to sign my sons shirt and talk to him for a moment I asked him when we left did he have fun at his first NHRA race and he said it was a blast. He said Mr. Clay was the coolest driver ever and he hopes you win 🏆 You are what makes drag racing great sir. Keep stomping on that loud pedal And good luck as you finish out your race season!!!!

Races are affordable. But when local tracks are being shut down day by day, the travel is the problem. Some people dont have the time and money to travel to a track to see our favorite drivers. Thanks to Clay and the Parts + team for taking us on the journey and filling in the gaps! But nothing like seeing it in person, earth shaking power that will change your life.

What is sad is that they don't even put NHRA on TV anymore except for certain races. So many pro sports are rules and regulations themselves out of fans and making it unaffordable to compete or attend due to insane costs. Greed is destroying everything good.

FOX covers every race - either on FS1 or the FOX network channel. Usually 2 qualifying rounds and the race on Sunday.

It use to be NHRA was on broadcast TV. Now you have to get it in a subscription package, and FS1 is often part of a premium package. Or pay the high NHRA streaming service price for their own service. NHRA did stream at least part of a national event (I think just qualifying) on here several months ago. I would love to see more of that, even if it's not the main event. EDIT: I just checked and there is a 10+ hr live stream of the US Nationals on the NHRA KZbin channel, so looks like they are getting their toes wet here in addition to the regular division race stuff.

Hot is an understatement. I don't think I've ever sweated so much in my life as I did on Saturday. I drank only water and Gatorade all day, but still ended up dehydrated. I don't see how you can take it in that 20 layer firesuit, Clay (nomex, isn't it?). Plus, the crew dealing with the heat and extremely hot parts. I have a newfound respect for ya'll. Thanks for taking a selfie with me. Best of luck in St. Louis!
