I got one of these from CRC and it doesn't have a schrader valve where yours is, it's just got a torx bolt. Is this to make it non-serviceable by the owner?

If I'm being honest I don't think these posts are intended to be serviced by anyone other than a dealership? I couldn't find any service information listed from Race Face. It may be worth contacting TF Tuned, they're the only specialists I know that may be able to help you with this?

@@qbikes It's actually a 150mm 'Aeffect R' dropper if that's a slightly different model. I recently bought this new. The only problem I've got with it is the mechanism at the bottom struggles to push the small pin that releases the pressure to lower the post. It's making it hard to push the remote lever on the bars. The lever does work but is really stiff to push. It's as though there's too much air pressure in the post making it hard for the pin to push against to release it, if you see what I mean. I was thinking of just lowering the pressure to see if that helps. I have another 125mm Aeffect R dropper that I bought new at the same time and that pin is so easy to push in without the lever, it shows how bad the 150mm really is. I have done some research and it seems that this 'R' model has a sealed cartridge inside so that's why there's no schrader valve to add/change air pressure.
