Lack of useful info is a characteristic of this series of videos. For example, which pads have more internal padding? -That would be useful info.

When you remove the piece covering the tailgate latch and camera, what prevents that velcro from scratching the tailgate?

The soft "loop" side of the velcro that is sewn onto the pad is soft enough that it doesn't scratch the paint. Atleast on my truck in the year+ I ran the T2. As long as the pad is securely snugged to the tailgate to prevent side to side pad movement, there should be no issues. -Sean

You can also cut up a soft microfiber into size of exposed velcro. They stick well and since soft, protects your paint.

This is a terrible product. Strap tore off with very little effort while trying to snug it slightly. This company has the wost customer support ever.
