1. Use your Animal Crossing skills to locate Raymond’s house and get inside.
2. Do NOT take tools / items / materials marked for other players, or materials earned by other players, or anything of the sort. (ex: If you are player 3 and you purposefully take tools / materials marked for other players, or dig a hole clearly marked for another player,
this is grounds for disqualification.)
3. Live-Streaming is permitted & encouraged, as is receiving help from any stream’s chat, however misleading it may be.
4. Looking at the map is allowed!
5. Re-burial of found items (furniture, materials, pitfall seeds) is allowed & is a respected strategy.
6. Please use family-friendly language during the race.

Incredible job, Abdallah!!! See you at the Season 2 Championship! Also, Abdallah yielded EVERY time there was a player-blockage. What a good sport!! Lauren (co-creator & referee) was also blocking that way temporarily, in order to stop people from going back to the beach if they missed the REAL golden shovel (located on the dock. Abdallah was the first one to find it.) So technically Lauren's decision was to help Abdallah maintain the lead. But this could've been remedied with more hedges in pockets, which we will take note of, should we use this mechanic again.

I agree with the concept of eliminating RNG and “lucky ladders” in these races. I’m glad to see this one didn’t include any of that and that’s probably the reason the race was SO close. It was based on who can problem solve the quickest.

I loved watching this. I watched the split screen version afterwards and clearly everytime Abdallah found something, the viewers were leaking it to the other players. I mean, as soon as Abdallah was approaching the crafting bench to craft the ladder, the other contestants were reading comments as "Abdallah just got the ladder". As soon as Abdallah accomplished something, the other players were minutes behind him. Same went when he found hardwood at the starting line. Within a minute all the other contestants were reading comments "hardwood confirmed at starting line".

Funny thing happened a couple weeks ago. I hadn't touched this game in about a month, and one day I decided to play it again. Isabelle said someone was visiting the campsite. Cool. Almost forgot about it. Wandered near the campsite, oh hey yeah there's someone there. Popped in cause why not. HOLY CRAP IT'S RAYMOND! I saved 7 tickets to go island hopping looking for judy. In my 4th ticket, on a regular island that looks like tarantula island, I came across raymond. No intent on ever finding him, I just got super lucky. So now he is on my island. If I get judy, my island will be set to go and then I will upload my island to dreams so everyone can see her. ^-^ ♡

Why is Raymond so over hyped? I don’t get it, he was my first villager on my island and I HATED HIM. He’s boring, mild and just all over not a fun villager to have on your island. Yeah, he looks cool, but that’s IT. Hate to see your personality if you enjoy him. 🤷‍♀️ From what I see 9/10 they get rid of him instantly.

It’s justified. Watching all of these they definitely biased chase. I say this because he did the most races and knew what to expect (re: infamous waterfall glitch incident/decoy tools). There was also a couple races he did back to back that were almost exactly the same layout. Obviously skill is still involved but glad to see they stopped relying on RNG, now it seems fair.

is it though? i watched both chase and abdallah race in each race they’ve been in. abdallah has been in mazes just like chase has. he could have easily used the same advantages. what would be better is to not invite back any previous winners, until the maze is completely redesigned. but his sportsmanship (not this race) the last couple races has been purely disgusting, and i’ve even seen his mods talk smack too. this is a humble game, and watching abdallah race truly takes the wholesomeness out of what could be a great race.

@@laurenlabair7312 i don't think we'll see eye to eye on the chase thing because i do think he has been in more races than most (to put in perspective i believe chase had already done 3 when abdallah did his second race), and especially when maps are not redesigned completely it's a pretty big advantage. i don't have all info, it could be that maybe these contestants are invited several times but decline to come back, while chase accepts. so sorry if i bashed chase in my previous reply, i think the bigger issue was potential advantages and winning through sheer luck and RNG- i'd be very salty about not getting wood from tree like he did.
