What I don't understand is why people are saying that there's still sooo mamy laps to go and calm down at the start of the race. That often how races are won! You go hard at the start to put your team in a good position throughout the day. Yes it's a long race, but you can't be slow just because it's the start of the race.
@stevesteele33122 жыл бұрын
There’s a old saying “you can’t win a race on lap one but you can lose the entire race in lap one”. That’s why they say it, because they don’t want to be a victim of anybody else’s over confidence and ambition.

Where I live in Adelaide in the state of South Australia We have a street circuit in the parklands of the city and it is a very good track with great racing. Every major city in Australia would have either a dedicated race track or a street circuit. 100km away from my house in a little town called Tailem Bend there is a multi million dollar facility called The Bend motorsport park, it has a world class race track that could easily host F1, super cars race there as well, it also has a dedicated drifting track and a karting track and they are currently building a world class drag racing track. And yes New Zealand has a race track called Pukekohe Park Circuit but super cars raced there for the last time early this year, pity really. Hope this helps

Can’t wait for next years illrelavant race cars from manufacturers that don’t even cater to the Australian market for more mediocre racing… when a sport doesn’t pitch a specific audience it is destined to fail, they are trying to cash in on the dwindling NASCAR fan base which has 5 more viewers than here at the home of the supercars, nevermind the stale driver line up an teams that have being so uncompetitive for so long that it’s a retirement plan for has being race car drivers to circulate (frosty) was sad to see Holden die a slow horrible death now I’m forced to see the same fate to what was once my favourite Motorsport but not anymore… A missed opportunity for a environmentally friendly approach an could have pioneered the future for Motorsport…but No let’s use archaic V8’s for 2023 an beyond the isn’t viable, an understand that they desperately want us to become Americanised…. A two horse race series isn’t interesting anymore especially in 2 door v8 coupes that no Australian wants to buy an are too impractical an expensive anyways
