I’d recommend you try a irc ve-33s it’s a mix between a gummy a something like a at-81. It works great in all conditions because of it huge nobs and I really recommend for hare scrambles it’s way better than a at-81 will ever be.

Like your videos and voiceover. Do you like the YZ250FX better than a WR250F? I'm curious because I'm looking at the WR pretty hard.

The WR250F is a great bike. I had a 2017 WR250F. The reason I prefer the YZ250FX is because it's closer to what I need for offroad racing in stock form. The WR is more expensive initially and then it takes time and money to make it perform like the YZ250FX. For example you would have to buy the competition ECU and the wifi module to get access to tuning in the Yamaha app. Otherwise the WR can be uncorked mostly by removing the throttle limiter, the airbox restrictor and the exhaust restrictor. On the plus side you get a higher wattage stator for lighting, etc. WRs can also be difficult to find. Thanks for watching!

Congratulations Donnie!! I was wondering for all of your races you had attended, did you camp in a tent or an RV?

Thanks! I don't have a camper, I prefer to travel light. For races that require overnight stays I typically leave my bike with someone camping at the race and go to a motel for the night. Getting a good night's sleep before a race is critical in my opinion and I don't typically sleep well when camping. Sleeping well and having a hot shower the morning of the race is well worth the expense for me.

I agree Rekluse clutches make whiskey throttle more likely due to bad habits of not covering the clutch, in this case I had the clutch pulled in, I just got lazy with it and let it out too much, too soon. The same thing would have happened with a manual clutch in that situation.
