Great videos. Just started wheel to wheel racing and first time with data. I have a really stupid question. When the default split times report has several segments and the last segments end up out of view is there a scroll function to slide hidden segments into view?

Yes, at the bottom of the page there is a scroll bar. You can also adjust the window size to ensure all splits are visible. I'm so glad the videos are helping you out.

Hi James thank for all the content absolutely love it! My race line is not matching up to the GPS, it show me running in the grass not on the track! I might be bad but not that bad!!! HA HA How do I correct this? Thanks in advance!!!

There is no way easily of fixing this. It's a GPS mapping problem. My advice here is to test different mapping providers. Often Bing Maps or Here Maps do a better job of rendering the line. Hope this helps.

Hi James, thanks for these tutorials, I’m new to this software and finding them really helpful. Quick question, if I clone a track and set 3 splits for simple analysis on race day and also for loading reference lap to Mychron5, is that now the only track and splits that can get assigned/analysed to those sessions? For example I later want to analyse the same sessions but with the Aim splits.

Hi! If you clone, you can use any of the splits you setup at any time. Just swap the track maps and everything will adapt (like split times reports etc.). Also, one thing to clarify, the splits you create will not effect your predictive times on your MyChron5. Those are pre-determined by the system and something you can't change. Hope that helps.

Hello James, thank you for your videos. I have one question, is there any way in RS3 to align two laps which have a gap in the GPS position at the Starting Point? Thank you in advance.

Hi Ivan. This shouldn't be happening in RS3A. It was designed to resolve this issue automatically. I recommend making sure you are using the very latest track maps (you get prompted to download in RS3 when you open it) and if that doesn't resolve it, I would send direct feedback to AiM and I'm sure they'll be able to help. I hope this works for you.

Hello and thank you for your tutorials. In the window at the top right I can not have data display or display like you, Time, Distance. No icon works. Is this a manipulation error on my part or a bug? Can you help me? Thank you in advance.

I'm heading to a new track and would like to set up the split times/name the corners etc. before I arrive. As time is limited while at the track - Is this possible? thanks! great tutorials!

Great question. As far as I know, the answer is no. Once you’ve got one session recorded, you can create your own splits from there. A great idea though and one I’ll pass onto AiM.

@@JamesColborn thanks James! I would think this would help out- as setting up sectors the way you prefer requires quite a bit of precision, therefore time.

Does this work on the standard aim solo 2 or is this the DL version?

This will work with all AiM devices. Just import the data and you can analyse it within many of the analysis pages in RS3A. Thanks!

How do you get combined theorical lap ?

You only get the Theoretical for the session (so the best from the laps run within that session). Are you looking for best from multiple sessions? If so, do let me know and we’ll pass this on the AiM as I’ve been asked a few times. Thanks!
