That picture of the red Holden logo is actually meant to be a digital screen. In the RedBull VF Commodore it has some sponsorship on there that changes every few seconds.

Yeah it's a fake dash that's present in a few of the cars this year, in the real RBRA VF it's a LCD screen and AFAIK that was the Commodore that iRacing recreated specifically.

I would love to see the Volvo in this category but seeing as it took such a long time to even get the Holden VF i am not sure they would do it. And Rain would be a very nice addition.

The car looks great inside and out, even if the backfire's a little overdone (cheeky dig at the backlash for the lack of it in the last build? ;)) Looking forward to it!

ahhh I hope iRacing change the flame colour. They run on E85 (Ethanol) and it doesn't really burn yellow like they used too years ago. Still a good effort though.

did anyone notice towards the end on the steering wheel display the shifter display shows revers while driving forward not sure if its a goof or some issue or its displaying something different

Full headlight covers would look better than those half cover things , (which I don't recall seeing on the real cars before). Full cover or nothing please iRacing.

The Falcon drives fine, takes a while to learn it though.

Falcon feels better than most of the cars, at least you can feel that car have at least some weight! And when you learn it, you will enjoy it more than any other car.

It is indeed the COTF spec. They are doing a new version of the Ford as well but will not be ready this build

Everybody knows that hardcore sim fundamentalists care only about physics and don't use rift, because they can't see the steering wheel.

Not if it will deter from the physics or the net-code. Eg. Battlefield 4 looks pretty... plays like shit online (tick rate - over all inconsistency with connection) so people can see lens flare and have destructible buildings.

"Everybody knows"??? If hardcore sim want realism, they will also want realistic graphics besides the physics. I didn't say anything about the physics side. And Oculus Rift or any other VR set will be the most realist option for simulations and not 3 monitors..

Man are you guys normally that salty about the rivalry? OMG I PHASE-CANCELLED THE SAMPLE FILE AND FOUND IN THE MIDDLE CHANNEL A QUIET PITCH-SHIFTED TONE THAT WHEN AMPLIFIED REVEALED A 842 HZ + 1242 HZ CHORD TONE WHICH CLEARLY IS A SIGNATURE EFFECT FROM A FORD MODEL ENGINE DIE IN A FIRE

The real car doesnt have any dials up there - would have been a decal when they scanned it

Frostbyte AU This is the V8 supercar they scanned, not the Gen-F. The dash on the Red Bull V8 Supercar is meant to mimic the real car but it doesnt have any of its functionality - the current Red Bull car doesnt have the dials at all but they must have been there as a decal when they scanned it a while back (Drive magazine did a whole interior tour of Craig Lowndes car just before bathurst)
