My experience with the metro in Finland is that when i pay with my phone the ticket is usable for certain time. 1 day ticket costs 4€ and can be used in all public transport in Helsinki. However the last 5km is in a dense populated area with stops every 300-400 meters (And a lot of traffic). So that is where the bike has the advantage.
