That was so dope when garret said thank you to Kyle. I can still remember those early videos with Garrett and 1320. It’s truly amazing to see what one comment during a video did for his life. But if it wasn’t for Kyle bringing him along, none of this would have happened. Well maybe it could have, but that day cemented his legacy. It’s awesome to see how successful both Garrett and Kyle have become over the last few years. Anyway I say it every year, but Rocky Mountain Race Week is the best week every year. This event is ridiculously tough on the cars and the pilot and co-pilot. One day I will do this, cause it’s something you will remember for the rest of your life. And even though I’ve traveled to 36 states, it’s most of middle America I haven’t been too, and this drive is truly epic

Fuel cooler will be nice, but at high altitude and lower vapor pressure it's tough to keep fuel from boiling.

And reroute the intercooler drain intentionally over the trans cooler. Add a small diffuser to make a trickle sprayer would work great. Also need to add vents in the tailgate or bed to pull out the hot air to keep the fuel tank from overheating. Lots of temperature quirks to be adjusted.

Add a tank, even like a windshield washer tank and hook a C02 line from the C02 shifter bottle to keep it pressurized and a solenoid to the output line and wire it to the ECU or if you want manual to one of the switch panel switches and plum the output line to a nozzle on the trans cooler. Easy Pezzy.

The thin air at those altitudes doesn't carry away as much heat. Just like you loose power your cooling system also looses efficiency.

It's amazing how hot it is up there when it's only 90 degrees in Palm Beach County Florida. Air quality is definitely different in the mountains. You know it's hot when a Floridian says it's hot. Loving the Mullet.

At 4:39 if they guys turned right down the road, there would have been a Tuff Shed a little bit down the road. This Tuff Shed in question is the one that stores "Frozen Dead Guy" which is Nederland's claim to fame. Locals just call him grandpa. Also the place directly to the right, other side of the road from the rock shop has some of the best pizza I have ever eaten.

We do that in HVAC in case there’s an emergency and a condenser fan motor goes out u setup a sprinkler and hose down the coil to cool it down

I wish I could explain to commenters how hard altitude is on racecars or regular cars for that matter. We lose so much power and cooling ability. Great video! glad you all made it safely! Wish you guys had a very grippy car to try those mountain roads sometime! We do cruises every year up there. So fun.
