I heard that the splash guards only fit older islands. Will these fit a 2016 TI ? Good video!

The TI in the video is a 2016 Hobie TI and the tramps and splash guard fit just fine. If you are in the Texas region, let me know. Let's hook up for some sailing and/or fishing sometimes. 832-588-7091

Hey, I will be over in FL in September. I am going to be chasing sailfish on my TI. :)

2 points forgot to mention ! How to install it to the kayak ? And where is the room to paddle !??????

carlos 1.... I am not sure what you meant by "install to the kayak." I thought that was covered in the video. Please feel free to contact me for any clarification as I don't mind chatting on things. 832-588-7091 Also, when using a TI or AI (tandem island or adventure island), you don't really paddle these. The AI/TI are wind propelled via the sail. If the wind slows down, you can use the mirage drives that come with these kayaks. If you have to use the paddle(s) for this particular yak (of which I have never needed to do unless the circumstances become extreme), the back seat is completely open for paddle navigation. If the front passenger needs to paddle, you can simply loosen the ropes off the rear akas and fold/tie to the front making things accessible for a front person to paddle. I've never even needed the front person to paddle though. I've never had a need for using the paddles ever on the AI/TI. Give me a call sometimes and let's talk. I will be happy to answer any questions you might have or you can contact racedaytramps and talk with them for additional info. Tight lines!

This takes a very long time. My home-made splashguard takes 10 seconds to install and remove, and costs about $10.
