If you have ticking after drifting, when oil gets really warm, then you probably have shitty oil in. I had that problem until I have put motul 10w60. Now it works normal even after few minutes of full throttle

when following a better driver try to replicate everything that they are doing. Less manji on the straight. Watch the handbrake and initiation points. Go full throttle down the straight then right to the handbrake and foot brake to slow the car down in a controlled manner sideways (try not to let the car roll off throttle before a corner thats where the lead car will pull away. I know it can be hard driving a low power car but you just have to keep your momentum up and sometimes that means running less angle and more clutch kicks. I used to drive a 325 E46

damn, I don't want to be too harsh, but I had a feeling (and I'm following you from your begin in stock car) that your driving abilities were already better :) Overall you were almost always flicking the car into too much angle and that's why you had problems with linking the whole track. It seems like car is a little bit unpredictable and after the flick you don't really know into how much angle will she go...defo you need with this new setup less problems and more seat time :) Keep goin'!

I think I was running a 3.46 auto diff here. I've since swapped to a 3.73 Z4 diff with the OEM finned cover for better cooling.
