To correct a small mistatement around 3 minutes in: The seat height adjustment was introduced for 2008, one year PRIOR to the NC2. I am 6'1", and my 2008 NC1 PRHT with the seat fully lowered and back gives my head about one inch of roof clearance. It's perfectly comfortable.

Sloppy steering is 1000% eother your steering rubber coupler has play in the rivits/torn or tie rod inner/outer is bad or rack itslef is ducked which is least common. I would buy a soild metal steering coulelr from condor speed and also new inner and outer tie rods and it will be on rails. Best upgrade ive ever done to make car handle on rails was the rtamb. Monoball bushing in the rtab makes a hugeeeee crazy difference like unbelievable. That being said make sure if you do you wont feel better handl8ng if the rest are all loose so you gotta re do all of them. I highly recommend using ball joint om the lower of the rear as well it made a hige differnece. Cant speak to monoball inner upper and lowers yet for the rear but i can only image it would make it thag much moee solid if wvry last bishing was inde3d a baljoint with zero play or bind9ng

The NC doesn't have double wishbone front and back, it is only on the front. The back is multi-link suspension.

Lots out there about how to lower. My wife is short and would dearly love it if I could raise the passenger seat about an inch. Sure wish someone would do a video on how to do that if it's even possible. Oh, I forgot to say this was a great video on lowering the seat.

I just put that exhaust on my 07 nc, I think it's perfect. Now it sounds like a sports car. The rest of the exhaust is stock. I'm half deaf and just couldn't hear good enough to shift properly.

The 99/2000 Honda Civic SI's are one of my less expensive dream cars. Although, They are quickly becoming very expensive for what they are. In high school when I was 17 in 2005 I bought a milano red 1994 Acura Integra with an Auto with 120k miles on it for $3,400 from A Japanese kid at my high school. He had put silver Motegi MR-7's on it and it had a decent Memphis Audio Sound System in it. I ended up lowering it with H&R Springs, put an AEM intake on it and re-painting it at Macco. I sold it at about 167k miles on it with 2 broken motor mounts for 1k.......I drove that auto hard and I could tell the transmission wasn't going to last much longer so got rid of it.

Setting an NB for track might be a little cheaper but the overall performance would be way lower. A NC with coilovers, track pads and track alignment is faster on track than a well prepped NB

Which displacement is your car? If you have the 2.3L you are not nearly as restricted by the stock manifolds/cats but if you have the 2.8 or 3.0 you should expect much more bang for buck. Why never mention your displacement in this video when it’s SO important

I just bought a used 2020 Fit Sport 6MT, and it is one of the most fun cars I have ever owned, and I’ve had a lot of Honda Civics in my lifetime, all hatches and mostly Si. I love everything about it, including the engine noise. I live near the mountains and it is a ball cruising through the small twisty roads. The gas mileage is fantastic; I haven’t gotten less than 40 MPG (according to the dash) yet, through all types of driving. The shifting is excellent, and I have worked out exactly what works for each gear; 1st and 2nd to get you going, 3rd for 25, 4th for 35, 4th for 45, and 6th for anything above. I love it for what it is and for what it can do. It is just absolute fun no matter where you’re going. Glad decided to “downgrade" from my 2018 Civic Sport Hatch, which is still an amazing car in its own right. If you get one, you won’t regret it.

I'm currently considering one of these as a future car but the electrical issues that JLR have really puts me off. Seems crazy that they haven't sorted the gremlins out in 2024.
