This rig has potential for people that have the tinkerer bug. People who only buy parts that fit perfect or expensive RCs rely on other peoples smarts to get there rigs going but the tinkerers can make most RCs better. Tinkerers figure stuff out and the ones that need everything to work so they dont have to think never learn anything imo. They just learn how to go online and complain that parts dont fit right and these are crap. I entered a race with a buget Rc and even the race announcer at the beginning of the race made fun of my truck. Placed top 3 in all my races and during the race the announcer was surprised saying what place I was in lol.

Its a great little trail truck after some little work especially it being waterproof, so i was thinking maybe its better to upgrade it with the rcawd scx24 180 motor and maybe a good c rating lipo, maybe stock scx24 battery, but was wondering if you could do a video of the upgrade first, if you can. 😊

Turning definitely isn't good. The Axial outdrive cups paired with a better tx/rx should help it turn better. Needs work but the price is right and the tuning it needs isn't too bad and should be able to get this more sorted.

I have seen that crawler but it didn't interest me because its a old design re released and watched videos showing its performance or lack there of. I do believe this racent is better out the box overall.

Its kinda like if they made an scx24 kit car. Like you're supposed to just go wild and replace everything on it which is what i want to do

some people go so wild they just buy everything to build from scratch. I think these are great for trailing around messing in water and such. Not expensive but fine for trailing. Or you can go wild with it too hahaha.

@Run That RC my idea is to make it have portal axles. So it would look stock but be super capable

Its pretty cool and all crawlers in my opinion should be water resistant at least. It was a surprise to see the esc/receiver coated.

pretty much a copy of the scx24. Not too bad though considering its waterproof out the box unlike the Axial.

Never did get to it. I ended up gifting it to someone so I don't own it anymore unfortunately.
