I prefer the H14BM. You can run it in more places and they are similar in speed. The truggy should also be more durable as its not a street car and has beefier parts.

if yours has the springs in all four corners then thats the newer model. I really should try and grab a newer model to see these new springs in action.

newer ones come with a more standard size remote and better esc/receiver. Also even newer ones have coil over suspension now as well.

All the Miata’s are the same from what I’ve seen and there the most up to date. I have one myself!

most the sellers on aliexpress sell the updated versions. Unfortunately there is no real way to tell which your getting. Maybe contact the seller and asked them what's included. The newer batches have the standard size controller/tx, and there are even newer versions with coil over springs instead of the torsion style suspension.

Is it possible to buy another random body shell with same wheelbase size and try to fit it on the Miata chassis? Even if I have to cut or move things, I would like to try other bodies

I haven't tried it on these but if the diff is sealed then it should take some heavy Diff fluid. I installed the spools on mine as its a dedicated trail rig.

Yup they should have those on a switch so you can use them accordingly instead of always indicating.

just replacement bling really. I personally prefer the oem parts honestly. Some upgrades are good and some are just bling while some may negatively affect your RCs performance.

you can set it up to wheel perfectly when full throttled or you can lessen the assistance and actually do the wheelies yourself with the bike able to loop out if you full throttle. Feels more like your doing a proper wheelie than just relying on the as6x assistance to keep it up for you.

The GTRs are all metal bodies unfortunately.

I had links but the sellers are all sold out or no longer available. My recommendations are Dasmikro v5 gyro and the updated wheels and tires. You can have a blast without modding too much. I purchased mine on aliexpress. Just search ldrc and you should find them.

I just tried looking for it and I think they raised the price and the seller I got it from isnt listed anymore. these are worth it for sure. Still haven't damaged mine after several bashes.

The toughest WPL to date imo. I am still running mine 100% box stock and enjoying it.

@jonmandelbaum5395 a lot of the WPL metal Upgrades fit and the wpl 2 speed as well. This rig has room for better electronics if you choose. For trail purposes it's been fine and surprisingly durable. I can see the driveshafts breaking eventually since they are plastic.

I literally just got this setup added to a cart on hobbytown and about to hit checkout but wanted to watch this video again and saw your comment. Now I'm not sure if I want to buy it. But how come the setup works in the video and not yours?? Maybe u got wrong parts?

@ I got it installed but I had to dremel the cover for the driveshaft to make it clear. I wouldn’t have bought it if I’d known that. I coulda just got the 223s. I got mine from hobbytown too today.

@ the motor in his “pro” kit is a 5500kv the actual motor they give in the kit is different and 5600kv.

​@User3eighty4 damn wonder if its a quality control issue. I have the red white and blue 223s just don't like the 2 in 1 esc and wanna run my dx5 instead so I'm looking for different setups. Ima wait it out now from your experience. I'm a real stickler about cutting and dremeling. I like 100% drop in parts.

@ that’s exactly why I spent the $129 on it instead of getting the hobbywing xr14 and 2848 sensored setup. That setup cost more but it issues standard size sensor wires too instead of the micro sized wiring. The app isn’t connecting on IOS so far either so I gotta figure that out. I’m sure it’ll be alright but I’m not happy about cutting my brand new truck.

yes for sure. You could use a light controller if you want the lights to work.

@@RunThatRC lastly I'm not telling people what to do. I'm giving advice. Unless you want your car doing 180s and be less controllable, then go with aluminum. That's what makes these toys fun. Not just straight line speed.

It's a great choice. You'll have a blast with it.

If you are going to leave it box stock then yes. If you plan to mod then both are good starts.

O man those Kyosho Mini Zs are awesome little rc cars. Very customizable and they are fun to run on the track.

@RunThatRC wasn't talking about aluminum parts. More like gluing a coin at the front. Much cheaper. Plus it can be easily removed. You wouldn't need to trim the wing either and buy another layer for a track and jumps.

@RunThatRC also, as you said aluminum stays bent, and ruins the handling. It's not as fun either if your car keeps slipping and oversteering due to aluminum arms. I gave advice and reason to some, but they like to deny and believe what they want to believe instead. Not my problem. Thanks for reading all my comments.

I think they are about the same power with the grom brushless models. You can run 3s not sure about the blx system.
