Totally! You can tell it was down on power, but if it was stock that makes sense. Sounds like the jetting was rich and had taller gearing, let alone the motor work. Every corner exit the bike was begging for help!

I used to race this track back in 91,92 it was very scary,they changed it up a bit to make it more safe,but its still pretty crazy.

that uphill triple was a uphill double back then and only 500 2strokes could make it,it was way dug out and scary.

@@doubleoddbuck00 yes they were,they changed the track the day like 20 guys got hurt and i was one of them.1992 i was on a 125,and I landed on a guy off henry hill,long before it was called that,i was 50ft in the air,i knew i was gonna land on the guy ,nothing i could do but hold on,ended up like taking out 6 guys.it was a mess,it was the first lap ,i laid on the track the whole race,and then the quad race went off before i was strechered off the track and to the hospital.

@@johnrickey5631 Wow, Dude! That back stretch leading up to Henry Hill was my favorite part of the track, 125 4th gear wide open, made many passes on that stretch. By 1994 I was running 125A & 250A.

I read on racerx that he actually got disqualified afterwards. It seems like a lot of riders are running 150cc engines...

In my opinion they should allow them to race on 150s. It would probably reduce the costs and allow riders who can't work the heck out of their engine to be competitive against guys like Ty Masterpool ( his bike is prepped by Star Yamaha, right ? ) Still a fan of Durham, even though he got disqualifed !

My My09 giving it gas in the ensures that your wheel is spinning full speed before you land resulting in a surge of power when connecting with the ground , so yes it's does "make you go faster " as Does using the clutch on a 125 , it's keeps the bike on the pipe and also helps control your speed in the corner .
