The 2016 Honda CRF250R has a significantly updated engine but we wanted to see just how much we could get out of it. Twisted Development helped us in that department, we also changed up the suspension, added a bunch of trick carbon parts and more. They run pretty gud ... It's a lot of top end in the Honda for the turns ... Typically people don't like that and go for a bike with more bottom end ... But overall the bike is great for someone who just wants to ride and not compete

Go on Craigslist motorcycle .... U can go from the lowest price to the most expensive. If ur looking for a 250 for 1000$ ur gonna have to put a lot of work into it. So you'll need at least 2000$ extra on the side .... The key to finding a gud bike at a gud price on Craigslist is to just keep looking. Search everyday all day. It won't be easy. It took me 7 months of searching to find my 05 crf250r at 1000$. Oh yea be prepared to travel some distance to get ur bike

+KTMBlade A portion of goes into the mechanics man hours on the build... Probably took at least a month to build that bike and get it dialed in. That wasn't an easy build at all. Probably racked his brain trying to figure out how to build that bike properly. And with all those mods on it I wouldn't be surprised if some pros are interested in buying it

250 is going to be to big if your only 12. Your height does matter to a certain degree but it really comes down to strength and bike skill.

Hey I'm in the exact same position as you, except I'm currently riding a ktm 85. The bike is too small and I'm too heavy for it. It does not feel comfortable to me anymore. I am going to be getting a crf250r soon I'm 5,7 and weigh about 150 and I'm 13 (I'm a big kid). I think you will be fine on a crf250 :)

hard to judge cause it differs with parts, most 250's go 80-90, but this bike has a lot of high end parts, I'd say 90-100.

I just read that pro race bikes cost upwards of $80,000. Of that’s true, which is insane, there is no way a guy racing on weekends can compete with those type of bikes or get anything near what they have. I’m not saying a guy racing for fun should have that, but he privateers can’t compete either. I don’t know what the $80,000 gets you above and beyond the bike you buy out of the shop, but for $80,000 it would seem that it’s an entirely different bike.

I agree that 2strokes have a sweet crispy sound. But 4strokes sound like a mans bike with that low grunt grunt.
