One thing for sure is the American Fans were super polite to anyone foreign at the race even when we didn't do that great on the track.I didn't hear one boo or any disrespect happening.Also the most serious I have ever seen Plessinger look.I hope his eyes are ok.He said his vision was fuzzy.

I had the best time cheering alongside a crowd of Australians and Italians! The chainsaw battles with the different countries were amazing how everyone got along and was pure joy! The rest of the world should act like moto fans and there would be no wars!

i have a different experience... my party of 12 was almost killed by the swedes. we had our generator on during the night to charge phones and warmup the water heater. well the swedes turned off our generator like 4 times and i would go out and turn it back on. but everytime i would turn it on they would turn on their chainsaws, which cool fine by me. but they decided to put the generator in the garage of my toy hauler while the genny was running. yeah lots of fun

I agree. I knew Herlings was fast and was ready to see him win, but I have a new respect for Coldenhoff! I still cannot believe Cairoli. He turned fast laps consistently during the qualifying practice sessions. Like a machine with one speed and it was fast!

@DouweEgbert5 жыл бұрын
Steve Matthes --- I talked to the track owner and he threw sand down on the new start section and a bit on the off-camber and that was it, so everything there was native to the track. ... just shows all butthurt fans make up their own stories and excuses

But, Congrats to team France, you boys rode so smart and tactical. Was awesome seeing the GP guys at my home track..! Hopefully, this lights a fire under Tomac's ass, and he shows up prepared for years to come.

The real MVP's here were the Netherlands. They dominated, as much as I hate to admit it. Good job to France to. If it was typical red bud the USA would have done much better, not saying they would win. We would have definitely done better and possibly got to see a tomac vs. Herlings battle.

That killed us! Didn't even podium! Netherlands 1/2 on American soil?! And podium with 2 riders?! Unacceptable results from US. Herlings undisputed best in world and Lawrence will have something to say to Plessinger next year. Did Barcia get lapped?
@viccrosscountry57455 жыл бұрын
James Bryce I’m proud that US American fans are far more fans of great racing than most of YOU!!! Were you there? I was and I worked as a track official. Every rider on that track was welcomed and cheered for by the hosting USA. I congratulate EVERY rider that exhausted their selves on that track!!! It was brutal and the track owners did an excellent job grooming the track. I personally watched them re-do the turn before Larocco’s Leap and the difference was night and day. CONGRATS to RedBud for such a great weekend of the motocross that we always enjoy
@mxrider42225 жыл бұрын
@James Bryce Barcia showed he can ride in the mud at the last national. but here he wasn't far from getting lapped, 2 mins behind and 5sec a lap slower than Coldenhoff (did he ever hear his name before?). GP riders will always be better, after all AMA riders only ride in one country and the GP riders ride tracks all around the world in all different conditions so they are more prepared if that makes sense. Wow the comments...After the race I'm like man the Euro's are so fast. Now after watching a few supercross races there is one harsh truth I'm realizing. The track at Red Bud was so dumbed down it was ridiculous. No whoop sections, no technical sections, just a super speedway. I really have to wonder how the euro's would do with a couple 50 yard sections of chest high whoops staring them in the face. Technical jumping rhythm sections and such. Not taking anything away from the speed of the French, Netherlands and Italians but a normal Red Bud outdoor moto track has a ton more variety and much tougher sections than the track the FIM laid out for Red Bud. Cmon back when the track is as it should be a BEAST.

If you had read the rules and follow the competition you would have understand.. They were only 2 riders for Netherlands because one of them couldn't participate and so score 3X points twice ..! And the overall After the second race tell nothing because there is one result that will not count (only 5/6 count), in reality at this moments it was Netherlands, Italy and France that were leading !
@J_Lo_fro5 жыл бұрын
@@adrienbruneau1002Yea I realise how it works. The Netherlands tail end let them down from what would could have easily been an overall win. Was merely pointing out the U.S. bias in the commentating.

@F. Lares Nope mate, the French team didn't train together at all, Tixier only did three GP this year cause of injuries, and he did not even have a team for most of the time. He was a last minute pick after Febvre got injured. Ferrandis raced over in the States all year long, and as the GPs just ended one week before the MXoN they didn't train together at all. But at Red Bud they were a great team!! The track was in no way a real sand track, they only added some sand on the hard ground, not even all around the track. No way like a european sand track. Wait for Assen next year, THAT will be real sand! The mud, the GPs dind'nt have a real mud race since a longer time, as the summer here in Europe was one of the dryest ever. So the europeans aren't as used to this conditions atm as many here think. The americans had two REAL mud races at the end of the season, and Barcia ans Plessinger won all heats there, so they know these conditions quite well. Btw, mud is the ground Jeffrey Herlings likes at least. Sand is the ground he loves the most. Can''t wait for Assen next year!

@mikebrown411825 жыл бұрын
Nice try to stirr the pot. No one should be cocky. Trying to shit on USA that has the most trophies of them all? Kids argument. It’s like i would say RC destroyed Everts and those two were the best the history of the sport have seen, so instead of acting cool enjoy it and embrace it. Certain riders like Herlings - Carmichael - Stewart - Everts - Cairoli, are very rare. Things can change quickly. In a couple of years someone will dethrone Herlings.
