Raceroom - Hotlap | Nordschleife NLS(VLN) | Nissan GTR GT3 (Setup in description)

First GT3 car I bought in raceroom, doing 8:45ish on Nordschleife VLN, and gradually reduced the lap time down to 8:15, realizing the car is outdated and bought the AMG and went faster, after that I bought all raceroom content.
But for 5 years I have been coming back to the Nissan GTR to try getting a sub 8 minute lap with it, now I have finally done it, but is it a skill thing or a result of the last tire model update?

Congrats Henrik!!!🎉🎉🎉 Can you leave the setup and few tips? Of course I'll study the video. I mean the general stuff, TC and suspension. This was before the big update, some curbes were more forgiving before. Thanx

Setup is in the description :) My first tip is get used to being on the right side of the car, if you are not used to it. I found that I steered too much to the left in left corners, which I sometimes to the opposite in left hand drive cars, steering too much to the right in right corners, guess it a perspective thing. This car seems to have much more low down grunt than the modern gt3's, so be a little more gentle going on throttle out of corners. Slow the car down more than usual before corners, it does not do good with trail braking (in slower corners) in my opinion, instead getting the car through the corner with the throttle. Reduce the fast damper settings, if its to unstable over curbs. Good luck!

​​@@henrikandreassen5190thanx, you're right about right side steering wheel. I keep bumping into curve edges. The rest , I'm improving I gues. I got it down to 8:05 for now. My shifting is off as I can see here. This video is gold 😊 We'll see...🖖

Takes a little time to calibrate my brain to it, sitting on the right side I noticed that I was steering too hard to the left and too little to the right. 😵‍💫
