Awesome race and video. The TOCA game got me into sim racing over 20 years ago. Hockenheim is a great track for touring cars. I haven’t raced Raceroom on line yet…definitely have to give this a try. 👍🏾

@@3TRCGarage You are missing out then mate! Just make sure you try and go on let's say after 6pm as it's hard to find populated races before that. Hopefully LFM in 2025 will change that!

Great clean race, RR has come on a tonne this year. The tourers pack is an istant buy. Reliving my childhood dreams, basically driving the Beemer like a nutter aka super Stevie Soper lol😂!!!

Now just imagine how much faster you'd been if you were used to this track and knew your braking points. But yeah, I can't say enough on how great these Super Tourers are. Or just about any of the touring cars in RR. I too have been enjoying RR recently (just not online yet) and despite its many flaws, it is still a great game. Hoping that there will be a sale around Christmas time so I can land these at a discount (not about to drop Can$24 for this series). Hopefully online participation will also increase, it's a shame that there were only 7 players in this session and only 2 knew how to drive.

@@ReverendSimRacing CSL DD . Just got hardly any feedback from the road surface , and can't feel the grip , wheelspin or slide of the tyres . Tried a few set ups , but not much difference . Looks like you're getting decent FFB . With AMS2 and AC I get brilliant feedback . Nice one for the offer mate .

I tend to add abit ffb multiplier under car settings for many of the cars in RR. I play on an old T300 though.

@ I think if you don’t have top end stuff it would be even better, we see lots of sim racers with gear that is way out of budget for the average person, but if people see what you have done and it’s affordable, more people may get in to it.

I too have just tried iracing. I prefer RR as it lets you push on just a little bit which is how I like to drive, I found iracing was crusing round trying not to over cook it. Lobbies are packed however

@seanstaras8823 I've just had a quick go. It looks and feels like sh1te. I tried to 'Test' a Porsche GT3 (992) at Monza and it asked me to pay $22.95 for the pleasure. It looks like a really old game, with terrible pop-in. Even on my high end machine. I'm amazed it's so popular, but then again, people aren't that bright are they.

The S40 is hands down the most popular and dominant car in this pack, which is strange because it was the BMW who was dominant in the real life series'. I'm a Honda driver myself, but I'm just an average driver on an average laptop. I'm okay being at the back for now.

It only dominated the first years of super touring. The S40 and BMW never really competed against each other except in Sweden, by the time the S40 arrived the BMW was almost outdated. Waiting for my rig to arrive early january, can’t wait to try this! 🤩

It's a shame that the ranked racing never caught on. I stopped when the 'Rookie' servers consisted of around 50% 2000 elo drivers, and 25% terrible drivers with the rest, like me, in the middle. I don't think there were ever enough people using the servers to justify splits, so fewer people wanted to play etc. I think they might be going down the LFM route next year, so maybe that will improve things.

It is indeed scheduled to be on LFM in 2025 so hopefully that will bring some players back! To be fair this week is the most players I've seen on Raceroom in a while! Which has been good to see 😀

No stupid question's on this channel mate! It's a custom hud, you can find it here:- forum.kw-studios.com/index.php?threads/rehud-a-custom-overlay-for-raceroom.19143/ Download and install and just run the HuD before you run RaceRoom. Then turn the Raceroom default HUD off in the options 😀👍 Hope it helps mate!
