The track limits detection is WAY too strict here (and most other places on RR as far as I can tell) - 24 incidents in 15 minutes is madness and most of them were fine IMO. Also that tyre wear is nuts, did the server have 2x wear on or something? Less than 50% after 15 minutes seems off

I think it did have x2 tyre wear on lol! Either that or I'm mega hard on tyres lol 😂

You're not alone, friend - just about everyone that plays RR that isn't a fanboy agrees that this game's track limits are a downer. This is my biggest beef with RR and often the reason why I stop playing before completing qualifying or even practice. The fact that your current and NEXT laps gets deleted is just plain stupid. This even counts when you get the wheels off in places where it shouldn't matter, like when it costs you time by your unforced error. But the lazy programming is so generic, it just punishes you regardless. This ought to be addressed soon but the developers apparently see it as being more profitable to create new DLC then fixing a terminal flaw. Terminal as in, this goes on much longer and I'm deleting this app from my PC.

my opinion is that these track limits are amazing and I would like them in all games on the market u can't get clearer representation of track limits than at least 1 wheel on white line and this game provides it consistently I don't need to waste time to find some dumb cuts to abuse the system like in all other titles also most series IRL also have limits like these in the "rules" but these are not enforced I assume because the series doesn't have enough observators and technology to do it in consistent way, F1 have and they are very strict in this matter for eg

@@instinktd the track limits are stricter than 1 wheel on the white line in a lot of places.. no ones complaining about that and the deleting your next lap is asinine.. most of the major sims dont have track limit exploits as they are fixed very quickly when discovered

race room was the first sim i tried online when i got started in jan 24, really must give it a go in vr some time.. this racing looks great
