However long this episode is, it’ll never be long enough. Mitch is an incredible resource for history, humor and stories.

Thanks, fun to hear the stories behind all that memorabilia. And the business card bit was funny, calling old numbers to see if they still work and especially calling Kawasaki to reach someone who's maybe now at Yamaha. And it was total class for those privateers to show their appreciation with those plaques.

Awesome, but wow, the history in those pants at the end, 3 legends legit from 87 MXDN, def should be on display at the front of house office btw , entrance not in the sunny spot though, Bob Hurricane Hannah is Unadilla, always will be! Plus love to see Bob Hannah pick up that award too, the vid of that to see the Hurricane rocking to Pro Circuit and up to pick that up from Mitch, pure gold ya couldn’t make this shit up for the movies with a scoot writer, makes ya wonder what else Mitch has of everyones who has ever ridden and is a legend haha. Anyways cool stuff, also always thought Rv2 was a bit sus haha.

I may have, as a broke young teenager, come across one of Mitches ported cylinders, and after seeing what it looked like ported a few of my own and my brothers 250r race quad, and decked the fk out of the head and used one steel head gasket to bang out the compression. And crammed in a bigger carb for more air. The bikes might have been strangely fast. Idk 😇

@DanArnets14924 жыл бұрын
17:55 During the 1980s, there were several F1 races on the Caesars Palace' parking lot. Drivers hated the race due to the track being anti-clockwise (most roadcourses are clockwise so their necks hurt), the rather-boring layout (it was some oversized karting circuit, lots of hairpins and 90º corners) and the fact the place was as flat as a pancake.
@DanArnets14924 жыл бұрын
@Michael Holderbaum - Back in the early 2000s, I could hear F1 cars from around 8-10 miles away if the area was silent.
@DanArnets14924 жыл бұрын
@Michael Holderbaum - No, I mean in my area (I live outside Barcelona, Spain). Back when the full grid was made of 3000cc V10 engines the sound was outright insane. It was so powerful it could echo around and reach places several miles away from it. Getting to the track was quite an experience if you timed it right, the "whispers" from a distance would progressively become more and more consistent.

Very unlikable guy. No need for the negative energy he puts out. Yes he has done a lot for the sport but no need to be the person he is. Being in a wheelchair must really mess with your mental.
