There isn't anyway that Kris needs 1st gear for corners. I don't care how tight the rut is lol. This review was refreshing. You know if Suzuki would quit racing Pro MX and SX ppl would go nuts but at the same time the ppl that would go nuts are the same ppl who thrash them in every yearly bike test or review. They're solid bikes. If it's not broke, why fix it? Also, a kickstarter never hurt anybody. When I ride even my old ass Hondas I don't sit there and kick them 10 thousand times so who cares if you kick once or twice and it fires up.

don't be a naive fool that runs around and regurgitates stupid ideas and bad sentiment. Suzuki is a large, international corporation. They make hundreds of things. You act like there are 5 employees at Suzuki and that they all care about motocross. Step outside of your little self imposed moto bubble and you'll quickly realize that these companies are so much bigger than motocross. It's not 1973. Winning moto and selling moto is insignificant in every way to the bottom line of a company like Suzuki. They don't need to win Moto to sell dirt bikes. Thats an outdated understanding of performance vehicle sales in the modern era. Honda went almost 20 years without winning while still dominating the sales charts 7/2 over Yamaha (their closest competitor in west markets). ...and those figures are all types of dirtbikes, not just MX. BREAKING NEWS!!!!!!!! no one at Suzuki cares!!!!!!!! Motocross is the smallest segment in the entirety of motorcycling. It is 50 times smaller than the offroad market. Suzuki has over 1000 engineers and only 20 of them work in the off-road bike department at any given time. ...and of those 20 or so guys...none of them are prioritizing MX over much more lucrative markets like dual sports and middle weight adventure bikes. Their entire dirt bike lineup is 5 models- thats MX AND off road. Go look for yourself. THEY DON"T CARE!!!!! ...and neither should you.

No 4 stroke engine ever wants or needs back pressure, nor will it ever perform better with back pressure. There have been countless hours of dyno testing to prove these old wives tales false. The best exhaust for any 4 stroke is a straight open pipe long enough to prevent cold air from reversing back to the valve....so like 1/2 foot of pipe. Everything beyond that for 4 stroke exhaust pipes is for noise abatement and tone.

Interesting they didn't mention anything about its'(at least the 450) serious weight problem. I rode a '23 back in July at GH, and especially coming off a 300SX the thing felt like an (underpowered) Abrams tank. Ironically I subsequently came across a video made by some dude documenting his weight loss (attempt) on his RMZ 450. It showed 251lbs full of fuel on his scales in stock form. It felt every bit of those 250lbs when I rode it. Especially on a bumpy GH track, but the bike's lack of power certainly contributed. After seeing this video and reading a lot of the comments however, I can understand Suzuki's reluctance to 'update' the thing. The one guy said he prefers the Suzuki to the Yamaha he owns/rides(makes me wonder why then doesn't he already own/ride one), and not only did they spend MUCH more time talking up the bike(s), seemed the [very] few times they had something negative to say, they first qualified the statement. With such reviews and the seemingly happy customers commenting below, it's no wonder why Suzuki sells all the 10's of these bikes they make😁
