The F35 spent over 60% of its time on the ground for expensive maintenance.. the stealth coating peel off after every few hours of flight. Spot on. Winning wars is not only depending on their technology. Assuming their best scenario and claims that F35 is far superior can win over J-20 BUT can 1 F35 win against 2-3 or even 4 J-20s. Definitely NO. China can produce and replace their weapons far much faster and much cheaper than the US ever can. Same goes for missiles, ammunitions, warships, rockets, artillery, tanks and basically every weapon used in a war. That is provided the US even has enough money to sustain and maintain their weapons for long term war with China. It is what it is. At the same time, the US weapons advantage over China in real true reality and wars are unknown. It could be the opposite, or the advantage is very small that it does not matter much. One clear example is China's space tech. Although China came in very late, It has now become very advanced and very likely even more advanced than the US is now at a fraction of the US spending.

American and European weapons have not proved to be that great in Ukraine. In many respects, they have proven to be inferior to comparable Russian equipment. The problem is that the US has since the Vietnam War grown used to fighting second-rate militaries that cannot fight back. When it comes down to it, America is no longer the technological, scientific, and industrial powerhouse it was back in the Apollo Era of the late 1960s. The US is rotting from the inside out. At present, America’s submarine force is arguably the best in the World. It stands unrivalled in technology and operational expertise. It is leagues ahead of the Chinese. However, the Chinese are closing the technological gap and in time will eventually surpass the US Navy because they are currently graduating eight times the number of STEM graduates a year than the US is currently graduating in the same period, which will give the Chinese a larger pool of technical talent to draw from. The Chinese also can outproduce the Americans in ships on the order of two hundred to one. At this present juncture in time, however, the Chinese Navy still lacks the sophistication to challenge the US Navy if they impose a blockade on the Chinese coast. Therefore, if the Chinese decide to launch an invasion of Taiwan in the not-too-distant future the results might turn out to be very problematic for the Chinese, especially if a U.S. naval blockade succeeded in stranding the invasion force on the Island without recourse to supplies from the mainland.
