Raceway Park - Final Words

This was indeed such a sad moment for everyone involved whether it be fans, officials, or drivers. I had the pleasure of racing at racewaypark, and it was such a joy to drive on. My first ever lap in a racecar was there. I remember my last lap there like it was yesterday, luckily I have it on video aswell for when I feel nostalgic.

I was a rookie in Flyer cars at 64 ,my son won the last race there (Racin Ryan) Bombers. A great place to race !!

🔴🦅🇺🇸🦅 I grew up in that raceway Park Blue Island ‼️ once the drugs took over the society, The spectators dwindled to nothing, the attendance was so low they couldn't even make the electric bill, BOB Snell , the maintenance man for raceway Park was a close and dear friend, his daughters June and Jane , we grew up together at this racetrack God bless these precious memories ❤️✝️❤️‼️
