Need For Speed... The godfather of racing games

Technically, I put Forza 4 1st and Burnout Paradise 2nd... Forza 4 have decent physics, beautiful graphics, a huge list of cars (all with stunning detailed 3D modelling), runs at solid 60fps on a 2005 console hardware... Burnout Paradise, beautiful graphics and special effects, a huge list of cars (all well modeled too), incredible sensation of speed, enormous singleplayer campaign and amazing multiplayer features (same with Forza 4 the community is simply amazing and the race list is huge), and runs at solid 60fps without pop-ins or texture delay in a open world map... For me, this two games are the greatest technical master pieces of racing games on Xbox 360, ironically one is from the beggining of the console life (Burnout Paradise 2008) and the other is from the near ending life of the platform (Forza 4 2011)... Both using the limits of this system.

+Progamer 999 because GT5 and 6 didn's surprised people like GT3 and GT4 on PS2 (GT4 running at 1080i/60fps with those amazing graphics was just incredible for 2004), but I enjoyed GT6 anyway even if it didn't evolve like Forza 2>Forza 4 for example

Gran Turismo 6 is the #1 spot for me and for millions of others because of its 1,300+ cars, tons of tracks, realism, tuning depth, and so much more. It is the type of game where you have such a veriety where you don't get bored nearly at all.

TuentiHP40 for 2004/2005, nothing could even come close when you're talking about physics and graphics. The only downside, I think, was that you weren't able to change the color, but it was SUCH an epic game

ill give a topping on burnout paradise, its possibly the only burnout game to be released and playable on PC plus its still available on steam for a dirt cheap price... and even though i've finished the game on my PS3, buying it and playing it again is still an enjoyment even today... 8 years after its release back in Q4 of 2008 it's pretty much the most enjoyable and fun racing game ever made... but I still hoping for criterion to come back to make more masterpieces such as all the burnout games ever created.
