I am 65, the 33-34 3 window has been my dream car since I was about 12. My Dad was an old dry lakes racer in Southern Cal in the early days, and he had several of these cars. Cameras and pictures were not a priority in those days for him. I have one good pic of him and a lot of stories I can still remember. I'd love to have that car but I know what it is worth...and it is probably far beyond my means. I have the last hot flathead my Dad assembled, or my son does. I can see that car with Dads engine...would be awesome. Keep it up Travis, you ain't afraid of work, and you will get that shop you want and need.

Travis, the reason that the spare tire mount is threaded at the top two bolts is so no one can steal the spare. The only way you can unbolt the top two bolts is to remove the spare tire. And to remove the spare tire you need to unlock the locking hubcap on the spare with the key. After removing the spare from the car than you unbolt the four bolts and remove the spare mount. Also, take care of that ashtray radio, it's big bucks!

I got to say that if I was from your neighborhood, you'd probably have to run me off. In my opinion your driveway is full of some sweet rides. You should look into metal car ports, they have so many options that Im sure you could find one the same width as your shop. You could extend and even make it wide enough for two cars .

Me thinks you should have removed the tire first, then you wouldn't have had to fight the weight when removing the mounting hardware. It's like an onion, you can't get to the inside until you peel the outside away.👍😁

Honestly I'm disappointed that you are actually thinking of flipping that car - it's a unicorn and you might honestly consider keeping it and making it your own - I'm pretty sure you will regret it (not trying to be a troll, just my honest opinion). I do get that is is not a car you could enjoy with your family, it's more a personal driver right? After that, it brings me to this question - what is your 'dream car'?
