My hair grows extremely fast and when I started, it was actually shorter than his was cut. After 18 months, it was a little past my hips & having such thick hair, it gave me headaches w its weight. My stylist weighed each ponytail and together, they weighed 5 lbs & was donated to the Locks of Love. Before she would make that first snip, she asked me 3 times if I was sure & I told her, yes, absolutely!
