What I love about Rachael is that when she's vulnerable, there's a bite and an anger to it - and with that luscious voice of hers, you can't help but stay there, mesmerized, and listen to what she has to say. This is the kind of thing you listen to on a cloudy Sunday afternoon when it's getting dark and the house is quiet. Absolutely epic.

I just had tears of anger streaming when I heard this song for the first time. Of all the things I allowed, the disrespect, lack of love/communication. It simply broke my heart and I spent the next hour crying with this song on repeat. I lost all feelings for the person I "loved" that day. He seemed so ordinary to me after the tears dried. Just some guy who I'd allowed to break my heart over and over. I'm happier now and this song doesn't make me sad, but I'm rather grateful for it showing me clearly what my heart refused to see, finally. Thank you :')

God dammit, that was beautiful and powerful and one of the greatest songs ever. I love her so much and was almost fulfilled when I found her a couple months ago. I seen her in person, she was standing right next to me. Five feet from me! and I couldn't bring myself to say two words to her because she is so...magnificent as an artist. I first heard another studio recording of this song years ago, before Happenstance, and it is my favorite song still. This version is very beautiful though. And there is a good live video someone recorded where she cries- that's real art. This melodic melancholy music she's putting out now seems more natural and less forced like the poppy stuff on Happenstance. She's so talented. This song brings tears to me EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. It hits so close to home.
