The whole intention was to tell you that applying for opening a Demat account with Zerodha is a very easy process. The comparison with Maggi was to bring in some fun element. Many are complaining it takes 3 days 4 , 5 even 10 but the reality is I had just open account on zerodha yesterday evening within 15 minutes and get Login id pass word in mid night and today i am able to trade . You should prepare all documents before opening and then see . I was having all documents correct without any error.

Friends, opening the account is fine. But to this sector, servicing of the account and answering queries in time is very important. Try contacting Zerodha Client support and see if someone answers your call.I bet no one will answer.Also they themselves mention that it might take over 72 hours to answer your query through mail. And the above are well documented through my experience. Hope you consider all these before you open your account in a hurry.

My mobile number is not linked with my Adhar. So while filling up the form I got stuck at last level. So I downloaded the equity form offline. Several pages of the equity form are scratched and mentioned as KRA verified. As per assumption, I should not be filling up the fields from the pages where it is mentioned that KRA verified. But to be double sure, I called online support and a person confirmed that, all the fields whether it is KRA verified or not, I need to fill those, because online and offline verifications are handling by 2 different disjoint teams. Could you please let me know what I suppose to do?

Be careful with Zerodha, you must need to put nominee to your account and its not online. You need to fill form on paper and send by actual mail parcel and wait for them, Most likely you will miss some info and you need to resend. Its very time consuming process. One of my friend had done and it took months to do and other one didnt nomintae anyone and it was hard to his family to get amount back. It will be better if they can do this service online too. Secondaly, When i was opening my account and called me and helped me to open account but for nomination, no one even answer my calls. This company can do cheat like many other fraudster companies did in past and people lost lakhs of rupees. So be careful my fellow investor.
