I like Rachel sure I think their relationship was.... rocky. But Rachel was an absolutely fun character. Flirty, reckless, yet caring and gentle at times. Still wish she didn't die but oh well. DONTNOD just loves to hurt us.

Comics are goated for Rachel living. I'm glad there's that, but I wish Rachel lived in the main game, or maybe she faked her death and becomes one of the protagonists in a future LiS game. Or we see her in a game based after the events of BtS and before the events of LiS1

I like to think that she was desperate to get out of Arcadia Bay and faked her death with the help of Jefferson and Nathan since the two of them liked Rachel (in both a non-romantic way and a romantic way) and maybe Rachel paid them off for help to fake her own death, and she faked her death, got outta Arcadia Bay, changed her complete identity and is living a happy life somewhere. That's just what I theorize tho.

She is manipulative, spent the whole game using chloe to watch her father, it kind of plays with her feelings, besides that in the play she literally refuses to release her out of pure selfishness, that is, she was going to use chloe to escape from acardia Bay and trap her like a bird in a cage, besides when she fails to fulfill her goals using Chloe, she starts using other people, like frank, also getting involved with dangerous people like Professor Jeferson, result of this: her selfishness and manipulation brought her end

@@gabriellagrey4163 don't worry, i'm chill, but like, i don't think it's cool that you use people's innocence and hearts to accomplish your goal, i know she's just a teenage girl who wants to show that she's perfect because that's what everyone expects, with a seemingly absent father unlike when she was little, but it's not right for her to manipulate people, maybe Rachel liked Chloe, but not in a romantic way like Chloe feels, and well I don't think she knew that so she didn't complained, because in the game before the storm we follow Chloe's fantasy, and because she is suffering from abandonment trauma, she was the perfect target for Rachel, since she was able to do anything for her, and well , I admit that, because she is afraid of being abandoned, Chloe can get a little possessive, and obviously you don't want to spend a lot of time with someone like that, but Rachel being so obsessed with leaving town to the point of being with other people is fine sad

As funny as this is, reading through the comments made me feel better lol. Just reminded me of when I played life is strange back in College, and everything was simpler without the regular jobs/ paying rent/ wondering what you’re gonna do. Makes me nostalgic, indeed, life is strange. I have a feeling I’ll probably be playing it this weekend.

Because the whole point of the game was to show that the past is truly beyond your control and no matter what you do, you CAN'T prevent certain stuff from happening. Rachel's kidnapping and death was unable to be reversed because her overall fate WAS to die.
