Okay besides the whole strike and a new cast, You can tell how much Chloe’s changed from Before the Storm to the original. Chloe was that stereotypical angsty teen, slightly monotone voice, likes death and black. Then, in the original her voice became more emotional, and she became more carefree and kind of “let go” of a lot. Honestly the voice acting was amazing.

Also, in Bts Chloe was more shy and reserved. Rachel totally helped her to build her confidence and that is why we see a more confident Chloe in Life is Strange. Chloe totally looked up to Rachel and Rachel helped her to be more confident.

I played this just recently but I had the hindsight from watching playthroughs of the main game where Rachel was revealed to have multiple partners, so at first I was standoffish just saying she was a friend but as the story progressed, I found myself liking Rachel more til on that night they were deciding to run away, I asked for a kiss. Its weord how even my thoughts irl were shaped like I had my own 4th wall breaking character development, it was quite meta So now im about to play the main game next and idk if my heart could take it, its quite the cognitive dissonance, knowing shes not been very honest, yet she grew on me and knowing her fate...

But before they could proceed their relationship, she and Chloe must've had a lover's quarrel or something. Then Rachel met Jefferson, from Cali who offered her an easy ticket out of Arcadia bay and Rachel accepted his proposal. Hence her death.
