Nicolesca - l agree. This might sound crazy but l believe in reincarnation.
@jimthornberry67744 жыл бұрын
Nah, not a chance. Etta James had a voice like warm honey smooth and easy like silk in the breeze. Etta opened her mouth and magic happened, it was natural. She didn't even have to try. This girl is straining and forcing out every note it's not relaxing in fact my blood pressure is rising watching her. I wish she'd sit down and relax her face.
@jimthornberry67744 жыл бұрын
Etta James could NEVER be replicated. She sang from the heart, her own personal trials and tribulations poured out into her music. This is a young girl who has no idea what she's even singing about. Not saying she's bad, just not an Etta James incarnate ! She doesn't have the life experience or passion to pull off that song either. Wait do you listen to Etta James?
@Nicole437344 жыл бұрын
Amanda Starr Morgan This is a lighthearted comment I didn’t mean it seriously lol but like you need to chill she was literally like 12 years old, you don’t need to invalidate other peoples’ talent to support your love for Etta James

@babygirllynn22647 жыл бұрын
SUP3RB yea but you can't blame her how tf does America votes get dead lock if America wanted her to win that bad then they should've voted for her twice as more that's the only reason why the judges were able to choose because it's usually up to America and Nicole couldn't choose she didn't wanna hurt either of them because they were both talented and both young the boy was 16 and she was 12 so it became deadlock again

It was the Micheal Jackson week. She picked her song and theme and they gave it to someone else. That's when I knew this show was rigged. Because Rachel likes sad and powerful ballads I'm sure she picked Earth song but Amaro did that one. Amaro showed up to the audition super nerdy to win sympathy and then won the competition. I was only watching for Rachel so I lost interest after this.

Cassie Hall America votes were in a deadlock so the judges had to choose and one said the other and one said Rachel so it was up to Nicole and since Rachel was 12 years old Nicole figured she still had time for success so she choose the other one that's why in the next scene Nicole is hysterically crying because she had to tell a 12 year old a very talented one that she choose the other contestant and when Rachel broke down Nicole became heart broken but tbh it wasn't her fault America votes shouldn't have been deadlock

I came here after watching American Idol - Top 7, to be cheered up after listening to so much fearful unemotional singing. Rachel Crow's rendition of 'I'd Rather go Blind' cuts deep, as it should...the best version ever of the song. It delivers so much emotion in 2 minutes - its enough to make a rock cry.

I feel something unexplainable from this girl strong voice. Like tears coming in my eyes and same time im jumping with excitement. What a strong and beautiful voice. If try to listen to all the artist singing the cover for this song, you'll find that this girl is different from them all. Trust me.

This has been a long time now since this little girl sang that song and it still gets me..It's like she's channeling the true essence of what Etta James meant for this song to be.

I've never heard anyone else sing this song with so much emotion on any other competition. I was so disappointed that she got eliminated.
