Ten years later, I still find this to be one of the most CAPTIVATING fiddle jams of all.

This recording has got stuck in my head more than any other fiddle tune. Can't wait to learn it someday

Nice to hear some sweet dulcimer action. It's also interesting to watch the dog being entertained.

They all played very well, but the dulcimel sounds luxurious and makes itself heard masterfully.💚🎩🎧👍

Hello again in 2019, times change but beautiful memories remain. That buildup from 1:51 dropping back in at 1:59 has to be one of the finest pieces of OT improv anywhere!

Thanks, the little dog is dead 2 plus years now, but we use the wagon to hold the food water bowls for the new pup

Moonshine V Losing a dog is one of the toughest things to endure. I'm a dobro player from Michigan, but I play festivals in surrounding states. Hope we cross paths someday!

It's a Fielding banjo - 11 inch, Walnut neck and pot, short scale neck.

The way you all are driving the tune really draws me in. Hey, Moonshine...another fabulous job of documenting the era. I'm curious as to how you chose to end it abruptly at the point where you did, though. Or did the abrupt cut off choose itself?

What state is Clifftop in?
@garyshaffer14093 жыл бұрын
West Virginia. Officially called the International String Band Festival I believe. Thousands come in August, camping and playing for a week or more. With covid now, no telling, but it is the best event in the state. Located at Camp Washington Carver.
