I'd say probably a combo of that and I would imagine also burnout.. Especially with the constant shift in dynamic among the crew with the drama, how much she struggled with having Capt. Lee leaving mid season for the serious health issues who she adored like he was her own family.. Adjusting to Capt. Sandy & how she as a Captain expects the boat to be run & maintain high standards in her management expectations of the crew... Then as soon as she gets into a good groove They're losing crew members & getting new ones all Lee is coming back. Seeing her on the show & who she is as a person in how she carries herself in her work & life. Deciding to get & stay sober + the emotional rollercoaster of changes all season would've had me in maxed out burnout mode INSTANTLY.

This season was really weak... This whole crew selection is just a big question mark in terms of skills and how they were chosen and them bringing Fraser back. Racher I understand, she has a big character but most of the crew are just incompetent and complain about everything. This franchise is running at its end for me.

Missing Captain Sandy. The show was much more entertaining when she was around, plus she actually made a difference with the crew. I know people don't like her micromanagement, but when you're on a boat and you have a small crew, what do you expect? At least she's hands on and not afraid to get her hands dirty. Can't say the same about Captain Lee. I think it's time for him to retire. At least from the show.

I love Captain Sandy. She don’t play around and she will get her hands dirty. Captain Lee is either in the wheel house his room or kitchen and he’s never standing doing anything productive. I know he hurt right now but even prior seasons I don’t see him do much.

captain lee never did anything. he never knew what was going on , on the boat because all he did was stay in the wheelhouse. he only needs to be there when the ship is underway. all the other captains interact with the crew and the guests to make sure everything is going well. lee is just a curmudgeon. a bitter old man.

Flags are used as a way of identifying oneself and communicating with other boats. Just like boats put out a flag for when there’s divers in the water, there’s a flag for a medical emergencies, needing a tug, man overboard, sailing, traveling international into new ports, dragging anchor, etc.
