Back in 2014, the Florida Board of Chiropractic Medicine & the Fl Dept. of Health filed an administrative complaint due to Bryan keeping insufficient med records, rendering services that were excessive & providing treatment not appropriate for the patient’s symptoms & or age.. After paying the $20,000, he was ordered to take risk management classes, record keeping classes, & an ethics class.” A letter of concern was placed in his permanent record.”... 2 yrs. later 2016, All State Ins. sued him... 1 year after that, 2017, he shows up on the Bachelorette.!!! … Was he vetted as they claim is their policy?.. I question his intentions… His track record isn’t good.

If there are no children involved in a marriage then I neither party should get alimony. If children are involved in the marriage and the wife isn’t working and clearly the husband is the breadwinner and again a substantial income, yes she should get alimony. Children are expensive and raising them is hard work.

He gavecup his practise in Miami sent all his equipmets to LA to start over. Please stop. While they were engaged, Bryan moved to LA to try and make it in Hollywood (even signed with some agency). A few months later, he came back to Dallas. Around that time, he also got his California chiropractic license Jan 2018. He is the one that had stars in his eyes. He planned this all along. They have already found $253K in a Paypal account that Bryan tried to hide and his income looks too be closer to $13k/mo instead $1,300/mo. He hasn't even provided his financials (like Rachel has) to prove his actual income and expenses which means he is still hiding money. Please stop defending this deceitful, manipulative man.

The moral of the story is that you should always stay true to yourself. Rachel truly wanted Peter, she wanted him to propose to her and for them to get married - he wasn't ready for this. If she's honest with herself then she'll admit that she wanted Peter. Bryan wasn't her first option but he was the 'safe' option in her eyes because he was prepared to propose to her and marry her. The bottom line is, she shouldn't have continued having a relationship with either guy. One wasn't ready to commit, the other one was (or at least appeared like he was) but he wasn't who she truly wanted. She should've remained true to herself and left the process single. I know that this would've caused a huge amount of backlash in the bachelor nation, especially the black community within bachelor nation, but she should've seen the process/reality TV show as a lesson and not an answer to her prayers.

As the very first lead of colour across the bachelor franchise, in particular as a black lead, she had a lot of pressures and expectations on her shoulders from the black community especially. She also knew she'd be heavily scrutinised and criticised by all communities, regardless of their racial group, so she definitely felt the pressure to represent very well. She knew that she would receive a lot of criticism, especially from black men and black women, if she turned out to be the first black lead of the franchise to leave the process without an engagement. I'm sorry, but the truth of the matter is that she would've been heavily criticised at that time, probably not now since there have been several leads of colour since then, but she would've taken a lot of criticism back then for sure. I understand and completely empathise with what she would have been going through. However, Rachel being a little bit older at the time than most of the bachelorettes who go on the show, she should've been mature and perceptive enough to had known that both options were bad options for her. She had a clear vision of marriage and children, whereas Peter wanted to continue dating her after the process. He wanted her to be his girlfriend. Whereas, Bryan said he was ready for marriage and children, which he might have well been, however Rachel didn't truly want Bryan. I believe she was in love with Peter and Bryan couldn't come close to him. She should've left the process single for sure since she wouldn't have lost out on anything. She came into the process single and would've left single. Anyway, I guess saying is easier than doing - hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Since we don't know why they divorced, it's hard to say, if Brian was the problem then yeah it would have worked differently with another guy, but if she was the problem, then this might have happened irregardless. Ultimately we don't know who's in the wrong or what went wrong or their relationship dynamics (whether traditional or egalitarian/modern), which would make it okay for the man to request support, same as a woman, according to the law and just being fair in general, as 3rd wave feminism advocated for, but I totally understand your point.

Therefore, instead of it being an uncontested divorce which is a lot less expensive, less time and doesn't require a court deciding the case, they now have a contested divorce (more expensive, more time, etc.)

California is a community property state so no matter how long you were married, you are entitled to half of all marital assets. In short-term marriages, i.e. less than ten years, the general rule of thumb is that permanent spousal support should last for one-half of the length of the marriage...That makes Bryan eligible for 2 years of spousal support.
