I am a pensioner only just above the benefits level so have already lost my winter fuel payment and so am worse off than the income support receivers then they also receive many other benefits. The Labour Party says that we are going to have a big increase in our pension next year but that is taxed but benefits are not, so losing out again. I do ,however, agree 100% agree with helping the people of Ukraine. We cannot allow Putin to invade a sovereign democratic country because he would not stop until he has invaded all the countries they lost during the soviet union war. Then he would try to invade all those allies who helped them to become democratic sovereign nations. We have to think long term about that,but we pensioners who maybe not have long term issues but will die of the cold. In my community the pensioners are the only people who do loads of volunteering work, and that is fine because for the first time we have the luxury of time on our hands after working all our lives .

Building Britain? How about reducing taxes and improving the quality of life. Pensions are non existent in this country. All the hard work I did and all just taken through tax instead of building a pension for me and my family. There just isn't a workable solution with existing politics. I have no idea where it has all gone, instead people should have been able to build their own pension properly as my parents did. Despite all thr tax the NHS is in a shocking state.
