Forgive me if I'm wrong but wasn't it the tories that refused to accept the pay award that was reccomended by the pay review body ??so therefore they were influential in pay awards .

Go give your head a good shake ..Tories ran up spending deliberately dismantling and breaking the country to specifically and intentionally give huge tax breaks to the filthy rich and their multi millionaire donors knowing full well the figures weren't going to add up.and then to completely take the piss expected middle incomes of Britain to go pay for it . then fortunately came the election .
