Having had family in Cayman for 30 years, yeah, they always have people there ready to pull people randomly out of line who are boarding and deboarding to search their luggage. Doesn't matter who you are. Age, race, gender. I was 10 and got my bags searched. They don't care. If they finish with one person and you walk by, they'll just ask you randomly so be prepared.
