Rachel sweet changes the lyrics from D.L. Bryon’s original version to uplifting. . She added “surrender all your dreams to me tonight, they’ll come true in the end”. The D.L. Bryon original has much darker lyrics. Then Pat Benetar made additional changes.

You can make out the lyrics a lot more clearly in this compared to the Pat Benatar version.
