_ANY_ public figure should be held to a higher standard. If you want to post a public statement, as a public figure you have a duty to _think_ before you speak. The problem, with some, is they do not think of the consequences of their actions or their words. In the case of this particular apology, by Zegler, it doesn't pass the smell test. I have to wonder if she was "motivated" by her employer to make such apology. The sincerity just doesn't fly. If you are in the public eye the best policy is to not share your political views. She did, and will suffer for it.
