Gosh in my opinion which is very negative and not very nice about this project, there is no salvaging it. Snow white isn't endearing or lovely but smug and entitled, the Prince isn't handsome or charming, the evil queen is dabbling in woke politics, the 7 dwarfs are non existent caricatures, the sets are unpleasant to look at, the costumes look amateurish and the music is uninspired and generic....guess who wont be going to see it, that would be me.

I know this film is going to be utter garbage but the idea they are pushing can work and has worked but in a different context. the film mirror mirror while still being a parody film still has snow white in the film and the story still does what Disney is trying to do here but in mirror mirror it is ok because it is a parody of snow white so it is not the same character as the original whereas here with Disney they are trying to say that this snow white is supposed to be the same snow white as the original but a more modern version of the story but with mirror mirror it is clearly portrayed as a parody and is not meant to be taken seriously and because of that it works but because the new one is taking itself so seriously and is trying to be an adaptation of the original it alienates people who want the core aspects of the original intact but with mirror mirror it can do it as a parody and parodies are never meant to be a serious take on the stories or even different interpretations of certain stories like the Hansel and Gretel witch hunters film sure it uses the original story as a basis for its plot but it does its own thing in a way that doesn't directly tie to the original so strongly so it exists in its own bubble, interpretations like that can work not what Disney is trying to do here hell even in mirror mirror snow white IS an actual badass like what Zegler's snow white is trying to be the one in mirror mirror can actually fight and comes off as a strong female character as a result as well as an absolute utter badass and it works in the context of that story here it just doesn't work with the story Disney is trying to use in order for it to work you would have to change so much of the story for it to work but with them trying to keep certain aspects of the original intact it messes with how the idea could work in the context of the story hell mirror mirror even kept the prince in but to make snow white stand on her own without the need of the prince they made him an incompetent dumbass and there it works and it surprises me that Disney didn't try that idea instead of just removing the prince entirely (just to be clear I don't agree with the ideas they are trying to push I just hate it when any idea is handled poorly be it in films or games and I always look for the hidden potential an idea has and I feel that being a sonic fan has something to do with this and if you are a sonic fan as well you know very well what I am talking about)
