little women is the best book but also the saddest.. I just think of the friends episode when Joey is reading little women.. just go in with some tissues because it is sad and you become so connected to all the sisters 💕

Little Women is one of my favorite books of all time. A perfect Christmas read!! ❤📚❤️. Edit: You'll be able to read it every Christmas now if you love it! A classic!

Rachel, you HAVE to read Little Women!! You'll love it! There's a few unexpected plot twists that you won't expect coming....Also when you finish it, watch the 1994 movie adaption! It's the best one!

YES 1994 is the best adaptation!! It’s so cozy. I don’t like the dialogue for 2019, it doesn’t fit the historical aspect of the story. Very modern, nothing wrong with that but I guess I prefer faithful adaptations for classics lol.

@cinnamonteeth the miniseries done a few years ago; I think it's still on Stan. Was also faithful to the source material. But definitely the 1994 movie is still so good - I remember seeing that at the cinema (gosh, I'm showing my age!!)

"Little Women" is on my all time favorite book list and I have read it 3 times. But, for best and most coziest results, I would start reading on Christmas Eve (you will discover why on chapter 1) and then read a chapter or 2 a day until you finish through January. That was how I read it last time and LOVED it!

The Final Empire's cover makes complete sense when you've read it. And I'd consider Little Women a classic. Hope you love both of them!

also I just read darling girls by sally hepworth and and LOVED it! I didn’t realize going in, but Sally is Australian and the story is set in Australia too 🫶

I was the same way about reading Mistborn. I put it off for years! I finally read it this year and now I am obsessed. I just want to read Brandon Sanderson and that is all lol. I can’t even explain why I just love his books. Though I still have to sprinkle in some romance books every now and then

July is my birthday month so when my mom and I were doing our TBRs I got free range to pull all the promps from our TBR jar. So this month we are reading This Summer Will Be Different, Empire of the Vampire, Heartless, The Deal, Beach Read, The Heart of the Deal, and Love, Theoretically. For some personal books that I'm read on top of trying to get to those are Middle of the Night, Bride, The Fifth Season (reread), Powerless, Red Queen, Girl Serpent Thorn, Ready Player One, Wildfire, The Love Wager, and finally Out on a Limb. Thankfully most I have audio for so this month is packed and I can't wait!! 🥳💙

Eee! I am so excited that you are reading Little Women! Btw, it is 100% a classic (that's not just my opinion, it really is). It is in my top 3 favorite books of all time. It is just so beautifully written and you fall in love with the characters and are by their side, even when you do not understand them. I learned so much from this book! AND I've got incredible news for you!! You have been talking about visiting Boston. Well, I recommend that after reading the book and watching the movie, go visit her house!! The author's house is not far from Boston and as she based the book off of her own life, it quite literally feels like you are walking though a story. I felt like I was in a dream and never wanted to leave. It is a must see. Best wishes on your reading this month!!

I've just read/listened to the Library Of Borrowed Hearts. It was a 5 star read (IMO). Kind of wished I'd bought the book as the handwritten notes look fabulous.

I hit my reading goal in June so the rest of the year I'm just going to relax a bit. Right now I'm switching between the new Riley Sager, Such A Bad Influence, and The Still Point. They're all good and I couldn't pick, lol. I'm also going to get a kindle in July for Prime day, so that's going to open up a whole new world to me!

Watch the 1994 Little Women movie with Christian Bale and Wynona Ryder is the the best to me. If you watch the movie. But it is the one I grew up with when I was 13: when it came out.😊 But the new one is good to, I just felt the '94 version was cast so well.

Little Women is one of my all time fave books - read it when I was in primary school (and that's a long time since now!!) I am not sure if editions now incorporate Good Wives, which is the follow on from it - but in reading order, the series (which again I all adore and have multiple copies of including my Mum's old editions of them) is: Little Women Good Wives Little Men Jo's Boys. Really hope you enjoy the first book and look forward to hearing your thoughts (and small spoiler - have tissues close by)

You need to read Skyward!!!! I've just finished The Final Empire and gave it 3.5 star. A bit slow burn for me. But I read the entire Skyward series and by the way you described Tress, I think Skyward will be more your cup of tea! It make it to my top 8 reads (out of 65) last year !! Just make sure u have book 1, and not the book of novellas that comes later!

I just started watching your videos and I can already say with 100% certainty you will NOT like Trail of the Sun Queen. It’s just a great story but so much detailed spice and the next book has even more!
