Love the way you make your chili rellenos. You take your time and you put so much love ❤️ into making them. Today i will follow you and attempt to make them like you. I have seen other videos and they don't take their time and they don't put love into cooking them and it just becomes so messy. Thank you for sharing Mrs. Rachel ❤️

I made these for dinner tonight and THESE were AMAZING! I followed all of your tips and methods, and they turned out to be absolutely delicious! I grew up in Corpus Christi, and Mom was a gourmet cook, but we never had Mexican food at home. I'm ashamed to tell you that at 64 years of age I NEVER tried to make Chiles Rellenos at home. 😂 I'm so proud of myself! LOL of course it's all YOU but I am still proud of myself for learning from you. I have to say you made it so easy without missing a single step. Thanks so much! I am fat and sassy and my family is impressed - better than any restaurant version we ever ate. Now that I found your channel I'm binge watching every video. 🥰🥰🥰👩‍🍳👩‍🍳👩‍🍳👍

Hello. This might sound crazy if you've never tried it, but the is a place in Midland Texas that serves this with raisins and sour cream on top. You might say, no way, but don't knock it until you have tried it. Of course, you have to like raisins, which I do. Try it sometime and you might like it. No one else serves it like this.

My favorite Mexican dish. I have only seen them made with cheese. Didn't know they were aso made with meat. A long time ago I made them with the other mild chili but didn't take the skin off. I was surprised they looked and tasted like the cheese version I always order at a restaurant. The meat version you make look good too. What a good teacher and cook you are. Just came across your channel. Well worth watching.💝🙏👍🏼

I am in Canada now but was lucky enough to live in a Latino community in Los Angeles over 30 years ago where some girlfriends taught me how to make Mexican Greats. I was always scared to make this one but with your Help I think I can do it! My trick for roasting peppers is to do them on the bbq. You can do several at a times and works greatly

I make them with chicken and cheese, I usually make extra chicken when I’m cooking it on the George Forman, then I add a pretty thick piece of cheese, maybe thick like 2-3 cheese slices. They are sooooooo good.

There is a local Mexican restaurant here that makes regular Rellanos & also makes a crispy rellano by deep frying them, they are good that way too. Maybe I will make them both ways & have a couple of friends over for a taste test to see which is more popular. Love your channel, love your food, love how easy you make things that I thought was going to be to hard to tackle, can't wait for your next video.

These look really good. Chile rellenos are a longtime restaurant favorite but I have never attempted them at home. I make stuffed peppers but mine are a cross between the typical stuffed bell pepper and a chile relleno. I bake a meat and rice stuffed poblano or hot banana pepper and top it with homemade cheese sauce. If I have jalapenos or serranos in the garden I like to finely dice one to add to the filling for more flavor.

Hi Rachel! Love watching you. My secret to getting the peppers charred, is to use my kitchen torch. I then run them under water and the skin rubs right off.

Yes that works perfectly too, it's best if you remove the skin without rinsing them though, because otherwise you will lose the roasted flavor, thank you so much for your comment. ❤

Great idea, sifting the flour over the peppers instead of dredging the peppers.

I can't wait to make your chili relleno recipe. I noticed that you are using chili poblanos. In New Mexico, we use our farm grown chilies from New Mexico. Hatch chile is a great example of what we use. We have to choose the thick ones for our rellenos. I've never made chili rellenos because I find them to be very complicated. Just like making homemade tamales, very complicated . We had a party one time of making tamales with a party and an assembly line. It was so much work, and they did not turn out well. I saw your tamale recipe, and I will try to make those. Our family from New mexico has to definitely have cheese in our chili rellenos. I can't wait to try your chili rellenos . In New mexico, we have never had chili rellenos stuffed with anything other than cheese and onion. You are actually putting a meat mixture in your chile rellenos. What an amazing recipe. Our family does not like any sauce on top or under our chili rellenos. We like to taste them crispy and natural. I just love you, Rachel. I love your channel.
